VIM VAR CORE IRON - Plus Metals

VIM VAR CORE IRON - UNS K94280 / Din 1.1010 / BS 970-1 / EN 10106

VIM VAR Core Iron, also known under various designations including UNS K94280, DIN 1.1010, BS 970-1, and EN 10106, is a high-quality, low-carbon iron material produced using the Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) and Vacuum Arc Re-melting (VAR) processes. These processes enhance its purity and performance characteristics, making it ideal for applications requiring high dimensional stability and mechanical properties.

VIM VAR Core Iron is primarily composed of iron with very low carbon content. The VIM and VAR processes remove impurities and ensure a uniform structure, resulting in a material with excellent machinability, high strength, and good magnetic properties. It is widely used in applications that demand high precision and reliability.
